I think Bud, Not Buddy would make a great movie. I would want this movie to sort of be like the Wizard of Oz, where it is initially filmed in black and white and then changes to color. It would change to color when he is having dinner with Herman E. Calloway and the Dusky Devastators of the Depression and he realizes that this is where he is supposed to be. I might eliminate some of the band members if I needed to, it seems like there would really only need to be Jimmy and Steady Eddie. I think it would be a really fun movie because Bud has such a wild imagination! Like when he is stuck in the shed and when he thinks Mr. Lewis is a vampire, I think it would be really fun to come up with the scenes the way he might have seen it. I would like to have a famous band play the part of the Devastators. I think the cars that they drive would also be an exciting thing to find for the movie, since the way they are described through Bud’s point of view is very exciting. I really think this movie would be fun mostly because of Bud’s attitude toward life.
